The cut. The rub.
The cook.

Follow Adriano's beef ribs video above. These are the main stages shown in the recipe.

  1. Prepare the ribs. Adriano trims the beef ribs and applies a thin layer of mustard before the seasoning.
  2. Add Xtra Mojo. Coat the prepared ribs with Xtra Mojo, as shown in the video. The blend already contains salt.
  3. Head to the smoker. Place the seasoned ribs in the smoker and follow Adriano's video through the cook and serving.

About the ingredient label

Australian labelling lets herbs and spices be declared as a group when each is under 5% of the product, so a named spice can be in the jar without being listed on its own.

May contain traces of nuts. No added colours, flavours or preservatives. No genetically modified ingredients.

A little more before you cook

Good questions. Straight answers.

What makes Xtra Mojo different?

Originally developed for steak, Xtra Mojo combines a fine texture with a savoury garlic-and-spice profile. Adriano has used it in his documented steak competition results.

How do I use Xtra Mojo?

Coat steaks before grilling or pan cooking. It also works on other meats, seafood and vegetables; follow the recipe for your chosen cut.

What can I cook with Xtra Mojo?

Use it on beef, pork, chicken, lamb, seafood, roast vegetables or burgers.

How much do I use?

About 8 g per 500 g of meat, as a starting point to adjust to your own taste.

How far does one jar go?

Use about 8 g per 500 g of protein. At that rate a 250 g jar seasons around 31 serves.

Make it your kind of barbecue.

Finish with chimichurri, choose a coarse seasoning for another cook, or get Xtra Mojo in a set.
